Grahame Edwards

Multi instrumentalist Grahame Edwards has studied music at the University of British Columbia and has a graduate Diploma in Fine Arts from the University of Calgary. Grahame plays electric and acoustic basses, percussion and trumpet. He has performed with countless local ensembles and productions in every genre from choral to musical theatre, big band jazz to classical. His first musical love, however, lies with improvised music and he enjoys playing and composing his own jazz tunes.
In addition to performing, Grahame has taught privately and in the Campbell River School District and he enjoys sharing his love of music through conducting workshops and clinics. He has carried on his studies with many respected Jazz musicians including: Don Clarke Phil Nimmons, Chris Nelson and Paul Horn. Grahame has collaborated with a diverse group of talented musicians over the years to provide music for many special occasions where friends and families gather to celebrate. He lives in Black Creek with his wife, his cats and a household filled with music.
