Grant McLellan

Grant has a diploma from Grant McEwen College in Edmonton. Upon moving to Campbell River, he set about carving a niche for himself as a guitar teacher and musical sideman in numerous local groups of various cultural styles. He also has performed under his own name in Guitar trio format, a group of which I was proud to be part. Grant has a wonderful touch on the guitar, a rich and varied modal melodic weave to his improvisations yet, when accompanying, a subtle rich and empathic supportive approach to the chords, displaying his extensive harmonic knowledge.
